Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 years as tight-ends in the National Football League. He is regarded as one of the greatest tight ends ever He is also the NFL's all-time leader in receiving yards and receptions for a tight-end, along with ranking third overall in receptions
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at the studio of FOX. Since the 2017 NFL season, Gonzalez has been a fixture on FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL Sunday. It airs every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign with the Falcons for a two-year 14 million-dollar contract despite claiming that Gonzalez would retire after the 2013 season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leading receiver of active receiving yards for his final season.
